Engaged FRBS to re-rough cast my whole detached house. Initially made contact by phone for quote and representative turned up at arranged time. I soon received a written quote by email. Work commenced on the agreed day and was completed within agreed time. Due to the height of my house I foresaw this as a potentially tricky job. However, FRBS turned up with all the required scaffolding and an experienced team of hard working scaffolders and rough casters. Rough casting by its very nature is a messy job and I must complement the team on the effort put in to clearing up the site following the work. After the job was completed there were a number of small issues that needed addressing. When I raised them with FRBS they reacted very quickly with no fuss to rectify everything to my satisfaction. It was heartening to see the business owner, James, regularly on site to oversee the work. My thanks to James and the team for making such an improvement to how my house now looks.

James and co were all professional, communication was excellent throughout. Mothing was too much trouble, felt comfortable throughout and an excellent job was completed.

James, Liam and the team team managed to repair and replace my two roofs together ahead of a large solar panel installation. They were able to accommodate the rapid turn around time and provided timely updates and quotas for additional work scope whilst tackling the roof repairs. The roof should be good for the life time of the solar panels. Great work.

FRBS carried out new roofing and roughcasting works to our property. James arrived on agreed date and time to price the works. We were impressed with the level of detail he provided regarding the scope of works required. A quote was emailed to us within an hour of his visit and the works started the following week. We had our roof replaced on our house and the roughcast re done. Lukas was very thorough fitting our roof, as it was a lot of work extending the eaves, he has done an excellent job. Kevin has done a fabulous job on the roughcast too. We are extremely pleased with all the work carried out on our house to a high standard. We would use FRBS again & would definitely recommend them to anyone in the future.

We have a 1970s house with a lot of roof, redone 2 decades ago. We knew from comments and repairs that all was not good, but all tradesmen over the years just replaced small parts. We asked FRBS to look at part of the roof where tiles were broken. They are a family business and each time one of them went up on the roof they took a video and with a voiceover explained what they were seeing and what the problem was. That, and the fact that they were prepared to look at the bigger picture, was helpful for us. Though the job started as a few tiles and some pointing they were able to show us the benefit of a more comprehensive overhaul and did not pressure us into this decision. As they have a precept that once they start a job they will finish it, they took it on wholeheartedly and gave us a new roof with beams and joists within a week. We had an intensive experience of highly professional people who were friendly and accessible, have done a great job and whom we would highly recommend.

Replacement of Soffits, Facias, Guttering and Roof Repair Contracted FRBS Quote received, and agreed work. Work commenced and it became clear there was problem with roof structure. (roof replaced by a different contractor 8 years previously) and remedial work would be required. Quotation received for remedial work and agreement given for work to commence. Additional work undertaken and completed allowing replacement of soffits, guttering, downpipes to commence. Communication throughout the whole process was excellent by everyone (Gary, Conner, Liam and Managers) Gary, Connor and Liam are a great wee team. They turned up promptly each day, reiterated the work to be carried that day. They kept us informed of any issues that arose and the solution to mitigate the issues. At the end of each day, their work site cleaned and all debris removed. Would highly recommend FRBS.

Such a professional company, work was carried out to an excellent standard and really pleased with my new guttering. Nothing was too much of an ask and they kept us up to date every step of the way. They cleaned up after themselves every day and left the place spotless. I would definitely recommend this company and would use them again in the future.
